ENGINEERING FOR SLAB TRACK AND PLAIN TRACK FOR MACMAHON RAIL

Longrun designed the approach and tail siding for the Karara Rotary Car Dumper (RCD) at Geraldton Port.  This included the slab track each side of the RCD.

Concurrently, Longrun was project managing the Geraldton Port Rail Upgrade; an improvement of the Rail network in the port and the addition of a heavy haul line for KML.
Longrun also participated to the construction of the mining infrastructures in the port such as conveyors belt feeders and sheds.

In the year following those on-site works, Longrun undertook a comprehensive site inspection followed by an asset management plan to maintain to standards the rail siding for The Midwest Port Authority (MWPA) at Geraldton port while minimizing ration capital expenditure.
